What is Taekwndo and what will I learn?
Taekwondo is the Korean Martial Art foundered by General Choi Hong Hi 9thDan in 1955. Translated it means “The Way of Hand & Foot” It is mainly a striking art with a strong kicking base. ITF Tae Kwon Do also has many hand techniques. There are patterns, sparring, board breaking, pre-arranged sparring plus lots of techniques & philosophy.
The wide variety means it is a very interesting art to learn, and the belt system enhances your goal setting skills with each new technique and belt to aim for.
