About Us
ACMAC Martial Arts School Balby opened in January 2003 and in 2010 we expanded and opened Schools in, Bentley/Scawthorpe, Stainforth and in 2011 we opened another School, the ACMAC Rossington School. Since then we have opened yet another School in Staveley.
We offer training in Multi Skilled Martial Arts, Kick Boxing, SDF Modern Street Combat, Submission Wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, Fitness Kick Boxing, & TWMA Weapons.
We also have our Little Dragon’s program which is for 5 & 6 year olds. All classes are either Kids 7-12 or Adults 13 years and above. We also teach ladies only Kick Boxing classes.
The HQ Centre has a large matted area and a smaller matted area, it has punch bags, BOB, board breaking device, focus mitts, stretching machine, thai pads, kicking shields and more.
As well as training facilities the Centre also has a Reception area with Changing Rooms, Café, Pro Shop and viewing area’s to watch classes making it one of the best Martial Arts Training Facilities in the UK.
Our Centre also boasts a fantastic Staff Team headed by Master Instructor Andy Crittenden who has been training for over 24 years in the Martial Arts. He is a fully qualified Instructor and Registered 5th Dan Black Belt (3 styles) with the All Styles Martial Arts Association, Self Defence Federation and Cobra Martial Arts Association. He also has Full Instructor’s Indemnity Insurance (as do other Instructor’s in the Centre) and has gone through a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Check.
We have had some of the best Martial Arts Instructor’s in the world teach at our Centre including Dave Turton, Dave Kovar, Billy Robinson, Joe Lewis, Royce Gracie, Kim Stones, Bill Wallace, Trevor Roberts, Johnny Huskey, Michael Bisping, Andy Morrell, Stevie Smith, Dave Irwin, Mick Gould, Larry Hartsell, Pat O’Malley, Jeff Smith, Phil Glover. ACMAC HQ is also the Training Head Quarters for ASMAA, Revolution, Scientific Wresyling UK & Serrada UK.
We also have “Risk Assessments” in place and have “Child Protection” and “Health & Safety” Policies. We were awarded The Quality Club Mark in 2006 from the CMAA.
